How can we make Performing Arts Education Work Online?
Covid-19 has forced many of us to change our teaching and ask how we can make it work online. What aspects of our work translate well to online platforms, which require significant changes, which simply can’t be taught online? This webinar is an opportunity to hear how colleagues from different performing arts disciplines managed these issues. This webinar took place on 30th July 2020.

A summary report of the webinar is available for download.
The key 'takeaways' from the report are:
-
Technology should be the handmaiden of learning, not its guide.
-
For teachers not used to teaching online, a just-do-it-and-see approach has a number of surprising benefits.
-
The pandemic provides an opportunity to co-create courses with students.
-
Teachers should have the confidence that students will learn, even if lessons feel untidy.
